New Delhi: The IndiaAI Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), has announced a global call for abstracts for the upcoming Casebook on AI Health Use Cases Across the Global South.
The initiative aims to highlight impactful and scalable Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications transforming healthcare systems in developing regions.
The Casebook on AI Health Use Cases will serve as a vital resource for policymakers, innovators, and researchers, offering insights into replicable and responsible AI health solutions implemented across the Global South.

Jointly developed by IndiaAI and WHO, it will capture best practices, lessons learned, and deployment strategies from real-world AI-driven healthcare projects.
Casebook on AI Health Use Cases: A Global South-Focused Reference
The initiative is designed to document and scale successful AI health solutions, supporting countries across the Global South in their digital healthcare transformation.
The Casebook on AI Health Use Cases will feature contributions from selected innovators and researchers, whose work demonstrates tangible, ethical, and sustainable AI-driven outcomes in healthcare.
Researchers, innovators, and institutions are invited to submit abstracts of up to 250 words describing real-world, implementable, and scalable AI health projects by 31st October 2025. Detailed submission guidelines and application forms are available on the IndiaAI portal.
Shortlisted participants will be invited to submit comprehensive chapters (2,500–3,000 words) covering project objectives, methodologies, ethical frameworks, deployment challenges, and measurable impacts.
